The Migrant Information Centre maintains statistics on the clients who utilise our settlement casework services and Access and Support program.
Through comparing our client statistics to settlement data provided by the Australian Government Department of Social Services Settlement Database, and State Government Department of Health and Human Services Home and Community Care data, we can develop promotional and operational plans annually to target new and emerging communities as well as people who meet our eligibility criteria who are underrepresented in our services.

In August 2017, there were 575 client contacts. People born in Burma (372) were the main group.
Nature of Client Enquiries
In August 2017, there were 667 enquiries, 123 of them were associated with housing and accommodation and 66 with understanding and completing forms.
Type of Contact
In August 2017, 494 of all client contacts were face to face, 75 contacts were by telephone and 6 by Email.
