MIC Young Women’s program GIRL TALK! is for newly arrived refugee female youth aged 15- 17 years old from a refugee background, who live in the outer eastern region of Melbourne. Through group discussion, team building, hands-on and self-reflection activities, participants are encouraged to increase their knowledge and resources, develop skills and build resilience to enable them to actively engage in their education, community and family life. Although a program outline is developed, the content of the program will largely be driven with input from the participants of the program.
