DESCRIPTION:The Migrant Information Centre (Eastern Melbourne) invites you 
 to our annual social gathering: “Communities: Together Stronger Better
 ”\nTo celebrate the achievements of our diverse multicultural communitie
 s and the volunteers who support them\, the MIC is pleased to present Comm
 unities: Together Stronger Better!\n\nThis year the MIC is hosting an even
 t online to thank our volunteers for their various commitments in supporti
 ng our clients and to celebrate the cultural traditions and stories of com
 munity of our multicultural community.\n\n\n\nThe event normally takes pla
 ce at the end of the year\, but this year MIC received a grant to develop 
 our ‘digital capabilities’ and used the grant to purchase a digital ca
 mera. This has enabled us to capture some of the unique and inspiring tale
 nt in the communities that we work with.\n\nListen to a Zomi youth band pl
 ay in their native language and watch a Hakha Chin dance performance…. T
 he event will celebrate the diverse cultural traditions and achievements o
 f our multicultural community\, with dance and music performances from a n
 umber of communities and speeches from community members\, volunteers and
