SUMMARY:MIC Driving Program for the Zomi Community
DESCRIPTION:MIC will be holding a Driving Education Program for the Zomi co
 mmunity in November &amp\; December 2021. The program includes 6 online dr
 iving education sessions which will cover the Victorian driving rules. A 
 member from the Victorian Police will hold an additional information sessi
 on about their role in maintaining safety on the road. MIC will provide pa
 rticipants who attend all 6 sessions with a $200 subsidy towards driving
  lessons to help them become safe drivers. A Learner permit is not require
 d for the 6 information sessions but is required to receive the subsidised
  lessons.\n\nParticipants must meet the criteria\, which includes:\n\n 	Me
 mbers of the Zomi community who have a permanent visa and has been living 
 in Australia less than 5 years.\n 	Over the age of 21 years.\n 	Currently 
 residing in the Eastern Region of Melbourne.\n\nMIC is currently taking re
