SUMMARY:MIC Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:\n\nLace up your shoes and come join us for the Migrant Informa
 tion Centre’s (Eastern Melbourne) (MIC) first ever fundraising Walk-A-Th
 on!\n\nRegister to be a participant and commit to walking either the 3km o
 r the more challenging 7km circuit.  Participants can then start raising 
 money by asking their friends\, family\, work colleagues and others to spo
 nsor them by giving donations to support them for walking that distance.\n
 \nOn Saturday 28th April 2018\, participants of this year’s walk-a-thon 
 will meet at Studley Park at 10.30am and begin the walk together at 11:00a
 m. Be sure to come early for registration and to receive a welcome from MI
 C staff.\n\nAt the MIC Walk-A-Thon there are two ways you can be involved!
 \n\n 	Sign up as a participant and commit to walking either the 3km or 7km
  circuit track here. The $20 you pay to register is part of the fundraisi
 ng\, but we also encourage you to ask family\, friends and other members o
 f the community to sponsor you for doing the Walk-A-Thon.\n 	If you are un
 able to participate as a walker on Saturday 28th April\, you can still spo
 nsor someone online here who is walking with a donation or come along o
 n the day to cheer others on.\n\n100% of all funds raised will go directly
  to supporting individuals\, families and young people from refugee backgr
 ounds who are new to Australia and living in the eastern region of Melbour
 ne.\n\nYour participation and donation means we can continue to support pe
 ople facing financial crisis to buy food and essential items\, cover unexp
 ected living costs\, as well as to help children and young people to parti
 cipate in activities to assist in their settlement into life in Australia.
   Any amount\, small or big adds up to help us achieve our fundraising go
