MIC Young Women’s program is for year 7, 8 and 9 students in Melba from a Refugee Background, who live in the outer eastern region of Melbourne. Through group discussion, team building and self-reflection activities, students develop skills and resilience to enable them to actively engage in their education, community and family life. The program will help participants to recognize and manage their thoughts, feelings and emotions better, develop confidence and self-esteem, and get along well with family, friends and teachers.
