MIC in collaboration with Collective Being will facilitate a 6-week young women’s group in the Moroolbark area. Collective Being specialises in delivering movement, mindfulness and somatics programs informed by practices such as yoga and Qi Gong, that are trauma-informed, mental health aware and accessible for all bodies and needs. During the program with Collective Being, participants will explore various practices that support nervous system regulation which enables better sleep, enhances concentration, improves emotional regulation and can lead to more successful social interactions. The program will be held during school hours with a rotating time to aid in greater attendance and start on Monday 16th October 2023.
