Community Engagement & Partnerships
MIC strengthens community leadership and participation through ongoing engagement and collaborative partnerships with refugee and migrant communities across the Eastern Metropolitan Region. Through our settlement services and Community Partnerships Program, we support community leaders and elders to build organisational capacity, understand governance requirements, and deliver culturally meaningful activities such as festivals, youth events and community celebrations. MIC enagags with community leaders, local services and councils share information, explore opportunities, and collaborate on joint projects and initiatives.
